​Monument of Humanity

Monument of Humanity is an American indie rock band formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 2014, and its musicians come from former bands in the Twin Cities area, such as, Los Demas and Janie Mack. Staying true to their roots of the midwest, MOH bases its sound and similarity to other Americana groups, such as: The Jayhawks, Uncle Tupelo, Wilco, and Golden Smog.

 

The band's lyrics, which have been described as "personal and at times melancholy," are written and sung by David Ebner. The band itself is composed of former bandmates: Sam (bass) and David Ebner (guitar/vox) and Benjamin (drums) and Rob (guitar/vox).
